IDENTIFIED as Pale Violet (Viola striata)

I think this might be Pale Violet (V. striata).

May 16/05. Hidden Valley, Kitchener.

 

The flowers share stems with the leaves.

I think this is Garden Currant.

Another question is ... is it Ribes vulgare or Ribes rubrum? Or are those one and the same?

What is this tiny plant? Looks like a tiny Forget-me-not.

Rondeau Provincial Park, growing in with the grass. Also at Pelee National Park.

May 10/05.

  • probably myosotis stricta (CR)

This shows how it carpets the ground.

The flowers are at the top of the plant.

The whole plant.


#2005-10

A white Violet. It's different than Canada Violet.

The flowers are on their own stem.

Stems are smooth.

Young leaves are pubescent.
